What I learned is to use the air compressor more instead of the floor pump and continue to boost up to max pressure to get new tires seated properly. They did have a tough time with that rear tire, but after awhile they got it. Turns out for the lopsided front they just said it wasn't seated right and they fixed it up. I brought both wheels and tires into LBS today. We pinch flatted 3 tubes and decided to give up. Then the rear tire.tightest fit I've ever seen. When we spun the wheel it looked lopsided. :madman: The front tire went on fine, but it didn't seat all that well. So last night my friend and I did some work on the Flight build and the hardest part we deal with was installing the tubes and Kenda SB8s. They're big into steel bikes so it gave me the idea to buy some for the Redline. I had another LBS build me up my Surly Cross Check last year and they used Frame Saver. Get back to me if you would on fitment after you try the 30.0. I doubt I'll even be able to ride any of the local trails for at least 1-2 more months.Ĭlick to expand. Thanks Java! For now I stole the collar off my other Flight. The weather here in the Midwest has been brutal. I change my mind a lot when it comes to bikes so I want to make sure the geometry is right for me. I just want to ride the rigid more first before I decide to build up the other frame. I can see myself converting the complete rigid to 1x9 and building the frame up SS with the Fox fork. I have some extra stems, bars and some other stuff I've accumulated over the past 3 yrs I can use. (2) Maxxis Ignitors and (2) WTB Prowler SLs Here's what I've picked up since I started this thread: I'm still trying to decide what to do with the build. It's in great condition so I didn't want to make it a donor bike. I was looking for a bike for parts to use on my build and found a deal I couldn't pass on. Click to expand.I actually picked up a complete 08 Flight off ebay a couple months ago.

Step 1: To find Netflix downloads, open the Netflix app. Features - change network to LTE(4G) only mode phone. Don’t forget to check for downloads in third-party appsĭownloading files from an app might mean that the files are saved to that app’s home folder instead of to the Downloads folder. 4G Only Network Mode opens a secret menu where advanced network configurations can be selected. You can also use the search bar to quickly bring up the file you’re looking for or check to see if you accidentally sorted it into another folder. If you can’t see your Downloads, first navigate to Internal storage, and then you will be able to access the appropriate folder. To create a menu, you need a menu folder, so create one inside the res folder by selecting it. Step 3: Select the Downloads file folder. The res folder holds all of your application resources. Step 2: Open the file manager on your phone, which will be named something along the lines of Downloads, File manager, or My files. However, depending on the models and manufacturers involved, the app name may differ.Īs a rule of thumb, you need to do the following: How to find downloads on other Android phonesįinding downloads on other Android phones follows pretty much the same workflow as finding them on Google Pixel or Samsung phones. To connect to a test device (with Windows Subsystem for Android installed) on the same network from Windows/Mac: On the test device (where Windows Subsystem for Android is installed) open a PowerShell window and identify the IP address of the test device by running the command: PowerShell. For my next purchase I will try some liquid chemistry which can be shipped from Europe and mixed from concentrate as required.Go for it, I was in the same situation, with 50+ years of B&W development under my belt, but never bothered with C-41. I won’t risk any important film and will do clip tests first. I do intend to keep processing in this mix until the results are obviously unacceptable as a result of either exhaustion or deterioration. Storage time will also have an effect on chemistry strength due to oxidation. The processing was done two weeks ago and the number of rolls has slightly exceeded the given capacity of the chemistry with no deterioration in quality. I found the info at this link useful when researching what products to buy and what approach to take, and recommend it to anyone considering processing their own colour negative film. This worked OK but next I will research a cheap and simple heating method such as an aquarium heater or slow cooker to get more stable temperature. I used the rough and ready method of having a 20 liter container filled with water at the right temp and sitting the dev tank in this when not agitating. With colour you have to get the dev to the right temp and keep it there for the 3.5 min developing time. This is trickier than B&W which is done at more or less room temperature, and where the time can be varied if the temperature is a bit hotter or colder. The key factor in colour quality is the processing temperature which has to be at 38 C (about 102 F). The results are close enough to identical and assured me that I could process C-41 to lab quality. Having said that, there is only a one stop difference which I think is not significant for such a comparison.īoth sheets were scanned on the same Epson V700 scanner with the same basic settings. At that time I wasn’t planning to do this processing comparison or else I would have exposed them the same. This was bracketing as I wasn’t sure about the reciprocity failure characteristics of this film. The exposures were slightly different – one sheet at f/11 and the other at f/8 both at one second. Both sheets were exposed at the same time with Fuji Pro 160 S in my Crown Graphic. Above is a direct comparison of my processing next to the lab’s – you can click on this to see the full size image. These were selected from shoots where I had similar rolls and sheets that I could process myself. I did half a dozen or so sheets of 4×5, a couple of rolls of 35mm and about eight rolls of 120.Īs a control I had one roll of 120 and one sheet of 4×5 processed by a pro lab. I did all the processing in the standard Paterson tanks using the agitation method. I used plastic two liter milk containers that were rinsed with hot water first. It’s as simple as mixing the powder with hot water in clean containers and then storing in clean jugs. Mixing the chemistry is easy and the kits come with clear instruction sheets. I would have bought a liquid kit but I was purchasing from B&H in New York and they are not permitted to ship the liquid chemistry by air so I had no choice but to get the powder. No retailer in Australia had stock, so I had to buy from overseas. I used a Tetenal powder kit that mixes to make one liter stock of the three solutions that are required. 3: Just for the hell of it – to get a feel for how practical it will be as an ongoing system and also to find out if I could produce quality similar to a good lab. Also, some of the rolls were from a Diana and I suspected they would have light leaks as well as the usual number of frames that are crooked or just not interesting and it is more palatable to be paying a few dollars per roll for this. 2: Cost saving – the average lab price in Sydney is about $8 0r $9 per roll, whereas developing myself works out at about $3 or $4 each. There were a few reasons why I decided to try processing colour myself rather than using the lab – 1: Convenience – the labs I use all require driving to areas where I don’t have any other reason to be. I’m very experienced with black and white processing – I probably develop ten or so rolls per week, so processing colour film only required a slightly modified approach. I know of three good pro labs in Sydney and I’d be happy to give my film to any of them, however I have recently had a go at processing my own C-41. I’ve avoided minilabs for my C-41 processing as they use roller transport machines which can scratch the film if not kept clean. It’s a simple process and not difficult to achieve consistent good quality with a bit of care. Traditionally this has been done by both minilabs and pro labs. C-41 is the process used to develop colour negative film. When you see a big black bear or buffalo next to you you get a bit of a fright. Why Do Bees Get Angry With Dark Colors?įor a bee, a dark object will be seen as a complete lack of light. When you are dressed up as a spaceman on a hot humid sunny day the last thing you need is any additional heat. There is an added advantage to the bee suit being white. This is why a bee suit is generally made from white or off-white material. Why Are Bee Suits White?īees are less likely to be able to see something which has a light white color. Certain Eucalyptus species for example have bright red flowers – but these are from an ecosystem where honeybees are not native.īees can still learn to find nectar in flowers that are more difficult for them to see. It is also important to mention at this point that many red flowers produce huge and strong honey flows. This is one of the reasons why red flowers are often attractive to other insects. Again, however, we do not know that something that we see as red, with our eyes does not have some sneaky veins in it that are reflecting UV. Read more about: How To Lure Bees Into A Hive What Color Can Bees Not See?īees do not see red. The bee can spot a plant using this vision, and then narrow in as it gets closer looking for the brighter flowers in its desired spectra. Seeing the yellow-green color is useful for navigation as trees tend to be green. This is the case – many blue and violet color flowers appear very bright in the UV spectrum and this is how the bees attract them. In this regard, a flower that we see as pale white may in fact be glowing a very bright color in the UV spectrum. In this regard flowers are not really trying to attract humans to them, so the colors we see are not what the flower is showing the bee – they are just an accident of our vision. Humans cut flowers off and give them to their loved ones, and even their deceased. Flowers have evolved to attract bees because bees pollinate flowers. It is important to at this point state that our human eyes have the ability to detect three colors red, green, and blue. In other words, they have 1725 cells detecting UV, 3450 that see blue, and 6900 that see yellow-green light.įor a really interesting journey into the philosophy of science around bee vision, as well as bee vision itself, this book is a great work. If we unpack this a bit, bees have 6900 facets in each compound eye – that is 13800 facets. Depending on which source you read there may be an extra cell in there measuring UV as well. One cell can detect UV light, two see blue light and four see yellow-green light. The cells can detect different colors of light. Every ommatidium is equipped with eight light-sensing cells. Each compound eye is divided into 6900 facets – these form individual small eyes called ommatidia. How Can We Use Bee Vision To Stop Bees Drifting Into The Wrong Beehive? Do Bees See In Color?īees can see color in their compound eyes. Why Do Bees Get Angry With Dark Colors?. In particular, income from dividends and from stock sales is taxed at a maximum of 20 percent (23.8 percent including the net investment income tax), which is much lower than the maximum 37 percent (40.8 percent) ordinary rate that applies to other income. First, much of their income is taxed at preferred rates. The wealthy pay low income tax rates, year after year, for two primary reasons. How the wealthy enjoy low income tax: preferred rates on an incomplete measure of income This analysis asks: what was the average Federal individual income tax rate paid by the 400 wealthiest American families’ in recent years, determined using a more comprehensive measure of income? Yet the most common estimates of tax rates do not fully capture the value of this tax benefit because they use an incomplete measure of income. Investment gains are a primary source of income for the wealthy, making this preferential treatment of investment gains a valuable benefit for the wealthiest Americans. But when they gain a dollar because their stocks increase in value, that dollar is taxed at a low preferred rate, or never at all. When an American earns a dollar of wages, that dollar is taxed immediately at ordinary income tax rates. The President’s proposals mitigate two key contributors to the low estimated rate: preferential tax rates on capital gains and dividend income, and wealthy families’ ability to avoid paying income tax on capital gains through a provision known as stepped-up basis. We also present sensitivity analyses that yield estimates in the 6-12 percent range. In our primary analysis, we estimate an average Federal individual income tax rate of 8.2 percent for the period 2010-2018. We do so using publicly available statistics from the IRS Statistics of Income Division, the Survey of Consumer Finances, and Forbes magazine.
